1) NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Official Entry Forms are available online at www.johnvarvatosfragrance.com/win. Sweepstakes begins August 17th, 2009. Official Sweepstakes sponsor is: The JV Fragrances and Skincare Division of Shiseido Americas Corporation (“JV Fragrances and Skincare” or “Sponsor” or “JV”), 900 Third Avenue, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10022.
2) Entries must be received by December 31st, 2009. Drawing to be held on or about January 15, 2010. Enter the Sweepstakes by completing the official entry form available at www.johnvarvatosfragrance.com/win and click on “submit.” No mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes. Further, Sponsor is not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the online portion of the Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, technical failure, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsor's control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. All entries are and will remain the property of JV Fragrances and Skincare, New York, New York. Winning entries will be drawn at random. Entrants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, which are final. One entry per person. Sweepstakes ends December 31, 2009.
3) Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: $5,000 John Varvatos Fashion Shopping Spree at your nearest Nordstrom ($5,000 must be spent on John Varvatos Designer Collection, John Varvatos Star USA , John Varvatos Converse items or John Varvatos Fragrances. All additional charges beyond $5000 are the responsibility of the winner. Three (3) Second Place Prizes: Ipod Nano 8G* with a selection of 850 of John Varvatos’ favorite songs (value $1000). Ten (10) Third Place Prizes: John Varvatos Rock Volume One Eau De Toilette Fragrance 125mL (value $82). *Apple is not a participant in or sponsor of this promotion.
4) Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions for prizes are offered. All prizes will be awarded. Limit one prize per person. Total value of all prizes is approximately $8,820. Winners will be notified by mail. Allow 6-8 weeks after validation of eligibility for delivery of prize.
5) Sweepstakes is open only to all customers who are over 18 years of age and residents of the U.S. . Full or part-time employees, agents, or consultants and their immediate families of JV Fragrances and Skincare, its advertising or promotional agencies, affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, distributors, and anyone involved in this promotion's production, development, or handling are not permitted to enter.
6) Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local regulations apply. Federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winners.
7) By entering this sweepstakes, winners consent to the use of their names and/or likenesses for any advertising and/or trade purposes of JV Fragrances and Skincare without additional compensation (except where prohibited) and agree to execute an affidavit of compliance with these rules and a prize, travel and/or publicity release. Failure to sign and return documents when requested may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
8) The odds of winning will depend on the total number of entries received.
